Writing
Through in-class and out of class experiences I have written features, recaps, press releases, and profile stories for a high school athletic blog and a sports website.
Multimedia Journalism
I have worked in Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and Audition. I also have experience with ENPS, WordPress, and social media.
Interpersonal Communication
Playing on a collegiate athletic team with girls from six different countries has taught me how to work as a team to accomplish goals, manage misunderstandings and conflict, and learn how to adapt to others’ backgrounds and cultures.
Time Management
Being a student-athlete, having a writing internship, and a student at a top journalism school in the country at the same time has taught me how to prioritize, manage, and succeed at every task I face even when it is multiple at once.
